Xmas tree is one of the known traditions of christmas celebrated everywhere. Usually a fir tree which is either artificial or natural is brought inside the home and decorated with christmas lights and ornaments. An angel or star is put on top of the tree as a final decoration touch and gifts are placed under it. Artificial Xmas trees have become more popular because you can use them again year after year saving on cost and they also do not shed their needles. They also reduce the waste of cutting down trees and are much safer from a fire potential. The custom of christmas trees can be traced back to the Germans in 16th century. It later adopted by other family homes in 17th century.
