General Information CCIE Security Written Exam #350-018 The written exam is a two-hour, multiple choice test with 100 questions covering areas such as security protocols, operating systems, application protocols, security technologies, and Cisco security applications. The exam is closed book and no outside reference materials are allowed. Study Tips Read, do some hands-on practice, and read some more. This exam will "test" your knowledge of the tiny details that you thought you would never have to know or considered to be trivial. Whatever you thought was trivial may be very important on 350-018 test. Hands-on practice is very important. What do the output of Windows and Unix networking and security commands look like? What do output of router IOS security and status commands look like? How can those commands be used or modified? If you had a large network, how would you use those commands differently? Think real-world security! This isn't a "two router" network exam.
